Fundraising the Glaze Way

Check this out!

Are you tired of fundraising efforts that generate little money for the amount of work done? Do you wish you could find a fundraising event that was so much fun, students would actually look forward to participating? Would you like to make your school’s family events even more profitable? Glaze has the answer!

At Glaze, we can help your students create one-of-a-kind pieces which can then be auctioned off or purchased by parents. Your school’s projects could be as simple as magnets or ornaments… or a whimsical popcorn bowl… try a large vase or server… or a stunning glass platter! The possibilities are endless. We are available to work out a project that works within your school’s theme and price range.

Here’s how it works:
Give us a call or stop by and let us know if you would like an in-school activity or if you would like a Glaze table set up at an event. We will work with you in deciding what your school’s project could be. You can pick up all the necessary supplies (pottery, glazes, brushes, glass pieces etc.) from our studio and complete your projects at your convenience or we’ll deliver everything to you and help your students create their masterpiece in one day.

The piece(s) will return to Glaze for firing and the finished project can be ready in about two weeks. It’s simple, creative and fun!

If you would like to learn more about how other area school’s are fundraising the fun and artistic way, please call the studio during the day and speak with Amy, Kay, Meredith, Shelley, or Kristina.

Display at University School

We have had many groups of dedicated parents and room Reps meet at Glaze and work on the pieces in the comfort of our studio where they are surrounded by idea books, sample pieces, stamps, special tools… not to mention extra help and attention from our highly qualified staff.  :)

New World Montessori did a piece that was auctioned off for $2,500!! The piece pictured below sold for $1,200. The glass pieces that were created by the kids went for over $1,000 each. Besides the profits generated, the kids enjoyed the participating in the process that helped their school and the incredible Moms enjoyed facilitating the creations.

Winning Auction Plate

Below is a sampling of some of the 27 pieces University School Of Milwaukee did for their Christmas and Holiday Show Kid’s Creations. The school was very successful in raising money by selling raffle tickets for a chance to win each classroom piece. Every single child’s art was displayed in this fundraising event.
